Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system issues and perform on-site maintenance to Canon standards.

You will service and repair designated equipment and maintain up-to-date knowledge across multiple product groups with a focus on customer satisfaction. This customer-facing role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and willingness to work shifts including on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of internet environments and PDIF training.
• Willing to travel and enter customer premises with required clearances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be active most of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups with troubleshooting basics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information and Canon property assigned and provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Provide solutions of escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas for any territory requested.
