ABB Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our US team, delivering on-site and remote support for critical power equipment. You will perform field service tasks, installations, maintenance, and customer training in collaboration with ABB teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical power equipment servicing.
• 4+ years with electrical power equipment servicing (for EE/ET tracks) or 8+ years for HS diploma route.
• Strong communication and collaboration across organization levels.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting within certified areas.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Coach and supervise technicians; train team members as needed.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts meeting quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for product and quality improvements and report to management.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental practices.
