Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Minnesota is seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our business development team. You will identify growth opportunities, secure contracts, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle with direct and indirect methods.

You will build a robust sales pipeline, forecast volumes, and present opportunities to leadership while maintaining strong relationships with operations and account teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; will accept 10+ years’ sales experience in transportation as substitute.
• Strong hunter mentality with a track record of closing executive-level deals.
• Base plus commission sales experience in B2B logistics and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts for logistics services.
• Drive full sales cycle from initial contact to close and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Provide forecasts and deliver opportunities and activity reports to leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of CEVA products and operations; collaborate with staff to meet customer needs.
• Conduct pre-determined number of face-to-face meetings and target account progression.
• Input and maintain sales data in the designated system; report on sales activity.
