Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Field Sales Executive III to expand our customer base and secure contracts for our logistics services. The role focuses on direct and indirect sales, building relationships, and delivering on aggressive revenue targets.

The candidate should have strong B2B sales experience, hunter instincts, and the ability to negotiate effectively. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, with five years of relevant logistics or sales experience.

Qualifications

• Logistics, transportation, supply chain knowledge plus 5 years
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 10+ years' sales experience in transportation in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts; drive the full sales cycle from initial engagement to close.
• Prospect for potential customers via direct calls and meetings; leverage networking to expand the pipeline.
• Provide forecasts, deliver sales presentations, and submit activity and results reports to leadership.
• Develop knowledge of products and operations; collaborate with station managers to meet customer needs.
• Schedule and conduct a predetermined number of face-to-face visits and input data into the CRM.
