Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Atlanta is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to grow our robust logistics operations through direct and indirect sales, building relationships and securing contracts.

You will own the sales cycle, develop a strong pipeline, deliver compelling presentations, and coordinate with operations teams to meet client needs and exceed targets in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Logistics, transportation, or supply chain knowledge required.
• 10+ years' experience in sales in transportation may substitute for a degree.
• Strong ability to close sales at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts.
• Drive the full sales cycle from initial engagement to close.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet targets.
• Prospect for potential customers via direct calls and face-to-face meetings.
• Provide forecasts on best-case volumes and sales across periods.
• Deliver sales presentations and submit opportunities and activity reports.
• Develop knowledge of CEVA's products, services, and operations.
• Collaborate with station managers and operations teams to meet customer needs.
