Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead a team of Solutions Architects focused on the Telecommunications segment. You will hire, train, and mentor SAs, align with Sales, and drive customer success through data and AI solutions.

You will maintain technical excellence, influence architecture discussions, and ensure the team stays ahead of the curve to scale Databricks’ Data + AI offerings for enterprise customers in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams.
• 7+ years of experience in the Data + AI space with a technical product.
• Deep technical understanding of Data + AI impact across industry segments.
• Ability to earn trust of engineering talent and leadership at Databricks.
• Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding strategic data decisions.
• Lead best practices for technical qualification, PoCs, architecture discussions, and demos.
• Experience hiring, ramping, promoting, and performance improvement for pre-sales teams.
• Foster positive team culture and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, grow, and manage a bar-raising SA team for a high-growth company.
