Databricks Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering to lead and scale a team of Solutions Architects for the Startups segment.

You will partner with Sales, craft GTM strategies, and drive world-class execution to meet aggressive revenue targets. The role requires deep data-technology experience and a proven ability to mentor senior technical staff, while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data space with a technical product.
• Experience building and leading pre-sales teams.
• Trusted advisor to technical executives guiding data infrastructure decisions.
• Skilled in architecture discussions and product demonstrations.
• Ability to establish partnerships with SIs and ISVs.
• Experience hiring and promoting high-performers.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Sales, PM, Eng, CS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of Solutions Architects for startups in Databricks' Field Engineering.
• Partner with Sales to increase revenue and drive customer success.
• Set GTM strategy and drive world-class execution toward sales targets.
• Engage with executives to align on strategic data initiatives.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of the Databricks stack and related tech.
• Foster a positive culture and collaboration across Field Engineering, Sales, and other teams.
