Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical customer-facing team.
• Experience partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams on complex engagements.
• Experience in data platforms, analytics, AI, cloud, software, or related technical domains.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Field Engineering team.
• Partner with account teams to define technical-win strategy and align resources.
• Build trusted relationships with Director-, Head of-, and VP-level audiences.
• Guide discovery, solution strategy, architecture discussions, and value realization.
• Establish operating rhythms to inspect progress, health, risk, and impact.
• Coach team members to communicate clearly, navigate ambiguity, and link tech to business outcomes.
• Maintain credibility across Databricks platform concepts, cloud architectures, governance, security, and networking.
• Represent customer needs internally and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing.
• Create a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Experiment with AI-enabled tools to improve team productivity and customer impact.
