Job summary
Databricks is seeking a Manager, Field Engineering to lead a team of technical customer advisors focused on solving complex data, analytics, and AI challenges. You will partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to translate customer priorities into durable technical strategies and measurable business impact.

Qualifications
- Experience managing or leading a technical customer-facing team.
- Experience partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams through complex, multi-stakeholder customer engagements.
- Experience in data platforms, analytics, AI, cloud, software, technical consulting, or a related technical domain.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing Field Engineering team.
- Partner with account teams to define technical-win strategy and align resources.
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and guide technical engagements.
- Establish operating rhythms to inspect progress, health, risk, and business impact.
- Coach team members to communicate clearly and connect technical recommendations to business outcomes.
