Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering for the Startups segment in San Francisco. You will lead a team of Solutions Architects, drive pre-sales excellence, and partner with Sales to accelerate revenue and customer success on the Databricks Data + AI Platform.

You will hire, train, and scale a high-performing team, engaging with executives to set strategy and ensure world-class execution. A strong data/AI background and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and grow field engineering teams
• Strong collaboration with Sales and cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and grow a team of Solutions Architects for startups segment
• Lead and scale a high-performing technical pre-sales team to drive revenue
• Partner with Sales and other Field Engineering segments to accelerate customer success
• Develop and execute GTM strategies and executive-level engagement plans
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Databricks stack to guide customers to scalable solutions
• Establish relationships with partners and drive a healthy hiring pipeline
