Job summary

The role requires a strong background in Python/Bash/Go, Unix/Linux, and Terraform, with a track record of delivering reliable, compliant services in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent practical experience.
• Experience writing code in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems, kernels, libraries, filesystems, and client-server protocols.
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
• Experience building containerized apps with Docker and running Kubernetes in production.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain AWS/Kubernetes-based infrastructure and microservices for Webex for Government.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and restore services in a 24x7 production environment.
• Automate provisioning and operational tasks to improve safety, efficiency, and consistency.
• Enhance platform security and compliance through IAM, logging, hardening, and FedRAMP activities.
