Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale deployments for federal government and public safety clients. You will own governance, P&L, and cross-functional leadership in a high-visibility, remote role with up to 50% travel across North America.

Preference for candidates in Eastern/Central regions. Requires a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance and a strong background in federal contracting and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience.
• Experience leading federal government software contracts preferred; equivalent enterprise experience considered.
• PMP certification preferred; advanced PM/Agile certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale software deployments and complex technology initiatives.
• Maintain end-to-end governance, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Develop and contribute to competitive proposals and win strategies.
• Manage project budgets, costs, and change management per contracts.
• Provide risk assessment and escalation plans for project issues.
