Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale, enterprise deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This remote role includes up to 50% travel across North America and requires strong governance, P&L accountability, and stakeholder management.

You will partner with growth teams, shape proposals, and ensure delivery of mission-critical software solutions while aligning with federal contracting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience.
• Experience leading federal government software contracts is strongly preferred.
• Certifications: PMP preferred; advanced Agile certifications are a plus.
• Federal acumen and ability to work with government stakeholders.
• Proficiency with enterprise PM tools: Jira Align, MS Project, Confluence, Asana.

Responsibilities

• Plans, governs, and manages large-scale software projects with cross-functional teams.
• Leads project planning, governance, and methodologies to ensure success.
• Manages stakeholder relationships and coordinates with customers and partners.
• Oversees budgets, costs, revenue, and project cash flow.
• Assesses risks and escalates issues with mitigation plans.
