Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale deployments for federal government and public safety clients. This remote role includes up to 50% travel across North America, with preference for Eastern/Central locations.

You will lead governance, financial performance, and cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance and high client satisfaction while shaping competitive proposals for large federal procurements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• Strong preference for experience leading federal government software contracts; equivalent large-scale enterprise experience in Public Safety, Telecommunications, SaaS, or regulated industries will be considered.
• PMP certification in process or completed strongly preferred. Advanced PM or Agile certifications (PgMP, SAFe SPC/Release Train Engineer, CSM) are a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal contracting practices or willingness to learn.
• Experience contributing to proposal development, effort estimation, and win strategies for large federal procurements.
• Proficiency in enterprise PM tools (Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Asana) for large-scale telemetry and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale, enterprise software deployments and complex technology initiatives for federal government and public safety clients.
• Maintain end-to-end accountability for program governance, financial performance (P&L), and client satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams and act as trusted advisor to government stakeholders and internal growth teams.
• Develop and shape competitive proposals and deliver mission-critical software solutions.
• Manage project planning, governance, and methodology; monitor risk and change management.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and internal staff; provide regular status updates.
