Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager for the Enterprise Proposal Center to lead development of compliant, compelling proposals for federal solicitations. The role requires coordinating with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, and partners, while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables in a high-pressure environment.

US Citizenship is required, Top Secret clearance eligibility, and up-to-date knowledge of FAR/DFARS. Travel up to 10% may be needed for active proposals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex federal proposals.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and federal procurement processes.
• Strong organizational, project management, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development from kickoff to final delivery.

• Develop schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Ensure full compliance with RFP requirements and guidelines.
• Oversee production and timely submission of proposals.
• Mentor junior proposal staff and drive continuous improvement.
