Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Proposal Manager to lead complex federal proposals across the Intelligence & Cyber Business Unit. You will orchestrate the process from kickoff to submission, coordinating capture, SMEs, pricing, and compliance to win strategic opportunities.

This US-remote role requires 12+ years of related experience (or 8+ with a Master's), US citizenship, and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance, with travel up to 10% for on-site meetings.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex federal proposals.
• Understanding of FAR and DFARS.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for on-site meetings.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process from kickoff to submission, coordinating strategy, writing, editing and reviews.
• Collaborate with capture managers, technical SMEs, pricing, partners and compliance officers.
• Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Ensure proposals comply with RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Oversee Pink Team and Red Team processes and implement feedback.
• Oversee production and on-time submission of final documents.
• Monitor proposal status, risks and issues; report to senior management.
• Mentor junior proposal staff and drive training and development.
• Participate in strategic planning for proposal development to improve win rates.
• Stay current with best practices, trends, and competitive intelligence.
• Engage in networking to identify new business opportunities and support BD activities.
