Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager for the Enterprise Proposal Center to lead and manage the development of compliant, competitive proposals for government solicitations. This US-Remote-Telework role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage proposal strategies, schedules, and compliance, and ensure on-time delivery while mentoring junior staff and driving win rates.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or 8+ years with Master's degree.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex federal proposals.
• Understanding of FAR/DFARS and related regulations.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Travel to on-site meetings for active proposals up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring milestones are met.
• Collaborate with capture managers, technical SMEs, pricing, partners, and compliance teams to write proposal content.
• Develop proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and mock-ups.
• Ensure proposals are fully compliant with RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Manage Pink Team and Red Team reviews, incorporating feedback promptly.
• Oversee production and on-time submission of final proposal documents.
• Monitor status, risks, and issues and report to senior management.
• Conduct post-submission debriefings and lessons learned.
