Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead the Enterprise Proposal Center for federal bids, coordinating cross-functional teams from kickoff through final delivery in a high-pressure environment.

This US-remote role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance, with travel up to 10% for on-site meetings. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, and driving win strategies for the Intelligence & Cyber Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex federal proposals.
• Deep understanding of FAR and DFARS.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for on-site meetings.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development from kickoff to final delivery on time.
• Collaborate with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, and partners.
• Develop schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and mock-ups.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Manage Pink Team and Red Team processes and implement improvements.
• Mentor junior proposal staff and participate in strategic planning.
