Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager for the Enterprise Proposal Center to lead federal proposal development in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance across the entire proposal lifecycle.

The position supports government customers, emphasizes high-quality content, and involves mentoring junior staff while driving process improvements and win rates.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing federal proposals.
• Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and procurement processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage deadlines.
• Experience with proposal tools and compliance matrices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process from kickoff to delivery.
• Collaborate with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, partners, and compliance.
• Develop schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Ensure full compliance with RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Manage Pink Team and Red Team processes and integrate feedback.
• Oversee production and on-time proposal submission.
• Monitor status, issues, and risks to senior management.
• Conduct post-submission debriefings for continuous improvement.
