Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Proposal Manager for the Enterprise Proposal Center to lead and manage compliant, compelling proposals in response to government solicitations. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams from inception to delivery in a high-pressure environment.

Candidates should have extensive federal proposal experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. This US-remote role requires US citizenship and eligibility for a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal development process including kickoff meetings, strategy development, writing, editing, and reviews to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with capture managers, technical SMEs, pricing teams, partners, and compliance officers to gather and write content.
• Develop schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and mock-ups.
• Ensure full compliance with RFP requirements and submission guidelines.
• Oversee Pink Team and Red Team processes, incorporating feedback and revisions promptly.
• Oversee production and submission of final proposal documents, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Monitor proposal status, issues, and risks to senior management.
• Conduct post-submission debriefings and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Mentor and train junior staff to enhance professional development.
