Job summary

BCFS Health & Human Services is seeking a Program Supervisor to ensure quality services for the service population, especially in crisis situations, while maintaining compliance with state and federal standards. The role supervises Family Resource Center staff, provides training, and collaborates with external agencies.

A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of direct service experience are required, with preferred supervisory experience.

• 3 years of direct service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision over the FRC direct service staff.
• Help the team understand family dynamics related to clients and assist in planning client services.
• Provide training and technical support to FRC direct service staff.
• Make recommendations for disciplinary action of employees to the Program Director.
• Maintain the continuity and integrity of records and reporting as required for compliance.
• Maintain records as required by the contractor.
• Work with the team to develop and ensure delivery of service plans.
• Maintain confidentiality of client files for assigned participants.
• Act as a liaison between the BCFS HHS program and outside agencies, including contractors and community organizations.
• Use stated policies and procedures to report child abuse and neglect.
• Conduct community outreach to educate parents, professionals, and others about the program and agency services, and to promote child abuse prevention awareness.
• Maintain familiarity and knowledge of community resources and use them appropriately to meet the needs of families.
• Follow all procedures outlined in the BCFS personnel manual.
