Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Facilities Assessment Senior Project Associate to lead technical assessments and project management within our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team.

You will oversee client-facing engagements, mentor junior staff, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and push high-quality deliverables from scope through completion, while advancing firm-wide best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• Minimum 5+ years of related facilities assessment experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities assessment and due diligence projects from setup to completion.
• Coordinate project teams and site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and managers.
• Prepare proposals, change orders, budgets, and invoices.
• Monitor progress and communicate schedule updates and budget impacts.
• Present findings to clients and advise on actions; mentor junior staff.
