Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking a Facilities Assessment Senior Project Associate to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Pittsburgh, PA. The Senior Project Associate will provide technical leadership and project management for facilities assessment projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and owners to deliver high-quality consulting solutions.

Responsibilities include leading PCAs/FCAs, evaluating building systems, preparing cost opinions, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB) is required.
• 5+ years of related experience in facilities assessment or building science.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for facilities assessment projects.
• Perform PCAs, FCAs, and other facilities-related assessments.
• Evaluate building systems and develop cost opinions for capital planning.
• Manage projects from setup to completion and coordinate teams.
• Interface with clients and lead project meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel.
• Prepare reports and present findings to clients.
