Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), or a related field.
• 5+ years of related experience with conducting property/facility condition assessments.
• Ability to walk properties and access roofs, including stairs and ladders.
• Valid driver’s license required if driving for or on behalf of an ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of facility condition assessment and property condition assessment services.
• Collaborate with staff and mentor junior staff to support team development.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing solutions to technical and administrative issues as necessary.
• Prepare building science & infrastructure reports, perform analysis, and provide recommendations.
• Lead client meetings and/or calls to discuss report findings and conclusions.
• Oversee preparation and review of reports from junior staff and provide final sign-off where approved.
• Direct project setup and implementation with junior staff and ensure appropriately trained staff are assigned.
• Oversee building science & infrastructure projects and assist junior staff with resolution of issues while managing several projects simultaneously.
• Possess exceptional technical writing skills with regard to spelling, grammar, and professional content/tone.
