Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, leverage supplier relationships, analyze markets, and negotiate to optimize value for Dow.

This role can be located in Midland, Houston, Terneuzen, or Tarragona and may require leading small projects and cross-functional collaboration. The position emphasizes risk assessment, governance, and delivering sustained cost savings while ensuring safety and compliance across the supply

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian rank.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

Clarify scope of purchase and service requirements with stakeholders.
Drive value from the market and propose competitive sourcing solutions.
Assess and manage risk in market, supplier and purchasing activities.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for safe, compliant purchases.
Lead supplier qualification, RFx processes, bidding, evaluation and negotiations.
Negotiate and implement commercial agreements aligned with regional strategies.
Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation and drive continuous improvement with KPIs.
