Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, leverage supplier relationships and negotiate to optimize Dow's value.

You will lead small projects, work with internal partners, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements across multiple sites including Midland, Houston, Terneuzen, and Tarragona. This role demands analytical thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage risk while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above US E5 or Canadian rank or 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Clarify the scope of purchase and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from the market using business acumen and market knowledge.
• Assess risk profiles of market, suppliers and purchases.
• Develop sourcing strategies to enable competitive and reliable purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFIs, RFQs, competitive bidding, and negotiations.
• Analyze problems, evaluate solutions, and implement improvements.
• Negotiate, execute and implement commercial agreements per strategies.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluation and drive SRM for safety, productivity and quality.
• Elevate team performance through influential leadership.
