Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager. The role can be located in Midland, MI; Houston, TX; Terneuzen (NLD); or Tarragona (ESP). You will define sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, leverage supplier relationships, analyze market conditions and negotiate to sustain value for Dow.

Lead projects, manage supplier qualification and competitive bids, and align with internal partners to deliver safe, compliant purchases while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian rank OR 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• For U.S. Applicants: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify purchase scope and service requirements.
• Drive value from the market using business acumen and market knowledge; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assess and manage risk of market, supplier, and purchase activities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for competitive, reliable purchases meeting safety and compliance.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI, RFQ/RFP, competitive bidding and negotiations.
• Execute and implement commercial agreements aligned with regional strategies.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluation and drive continuous improvement via KPIs.
