Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager with the ability to define sourcing opportunities, develop strategies, and negotiate with suppliers to maximize value. The role focuses on risk, supplier qualification, and cross-functional collaboration across Dow sites.

Located in Midland (MI), Houston (TX), Terneuzen (NLD), or Tarragona (ESP), you will lead small projects, build consensus, and drive improvements in cost, safety and quality through strategic sourcing practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking or 10 years of relevant working experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
• For U.S. Applicants: US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify purchase scope and service requirements.
• Drive value from the market and propose competitive sourcing solutions to unlock cost savings.
• Assess risk profiles of markets, suppliers, and purchasing activities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies meeting safety, qualification, and compliance needs.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFIs/RFQs, bidding, evaluation, and negotiations.
• Negotiate and implement commercial agreements aligned with regional strategies.
• Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation and drive continuous improvement via SRM and KPIs.
