Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities, develop and align strategies, and negotiate with suppliers to sustain value for Dow. This role can be located in Midland, Houston, Terneuzen, or Tarragona.

You will lead supplier qualification, RFI/RFQ/RFP, competitive bidding, and negotiate agreements while ensuring safety and compliance. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential for ongoing value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above a US E5 or Canadian rank.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship for this US-based role.

Responsibilities

• Clarify scope of purchase and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and value.
• Assess risk profiles of markets, suppliers and purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFIs, RFQ/RFP, bidding and negotiations.
• Negotiate, execute and implement commercial agreements.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluation and drive SRM improvements.
• Elevate team performance through influential leadership.
