Job summary

Amex GBT in the United States is seeking a Senior Program Leader to run large corporate meetings and events. You will lead a dedicated team, own end-to-end delivery from kickoff to onsite, and oversee budgets, timelines, and client communications.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, expert Cvent skills, and a track record of strategic client engagement within an annual program calendar. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years delivering large corporate meetings and events.
• Experience leading a team of meeting professionals through full program cycles.
• Advanced Cvent proficiency and familiarity with client-owned instances.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account program team, including Sr Meeting Managers, Meeting Managers, and coordinators, with responsibility for assignments, performance, development, and coverage across the program calendar.
• Own delivery for every assigned program from planning kickoff through onsite execution and close, including flagship annual conference.
• Serve as the client's primary delivery contact day to day, managing planning cadences, status reporting, and decisions.
• Own program budgets from initial estimate through final reconciliation, including forecasts and financial reporting for the client.
• Manage master timeline and milestones in Smartsheet, ensuring alignment with dates across team members and suppliers.
• Oversee housing, registration, and attendee communications, maintain data integrity and privacy.
