Job summary

Encore seeks a Technical Specialist to manage the technical setup and operation of enhanced mid-level production events in a hospitality setting in Tempe, AZ. You will ensure client satisfaction and report to the project management leadership in your area.

You will lead equipment operation, client communication, staff training, and event supervision, while maintaining equipment security and performing inventory forecasts. The role requires physical capability and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s program.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots advanced audiovisual equipment for events.
• Delivers excellent customer service and collaborates with hotel/client teams.
• Mentors staff and develops technical skills and knowledge.
• Supervises technicians during events and coordinates pre/during/post activities.
• Maintains equipment security, storage, and inventory.
