Job summary

Encore Global in Phoenix is seeking a Technical Lead to set up and operate AV systems for hospitality events. You will manage on-site installation, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure complete customer satisfaction while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires 2–3+ years in AV/hospitality, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and a valid driver's license. You will work in hotel/convention settings, coordinate with venues, complete paperwork, and help maximize revenue

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2–3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2–3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required for roles that may operate company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet all training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down intermediate AV equipment accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage client relationships on site.
• Complete system checks, invoicing support, and use Encore systems as needed.
