Job summary

Encore Global in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems within a hospitality environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience and 1 year of AV experience or equivalent in an educational environment. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications required within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately using company processes and Navigator when needed.
