Job summary

Encore Global in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge mid-tier operations and specialist work across events. This full-time role reports to an Operations Manager and supports setup, operation, and post-event wrap-up of advanced AV systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in field roles, strong customer service or hospitality experience, and the ability to mentor teammates, supervise staff, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown advanced audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and maintain security measures.
• Provide excellent service and build relationships with clients.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop technical skills.
• Supervise technicians during events and coordinate with the operations team.
• Maintain equipment storage, transport, and inventory.
