Job summary

Encore seeks a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge technical leadership and specialist roles for hotel/convention center events. You will oversee setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV gear, ensuring flawless events and strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes training others, supervising on-site teams, and maintaining equipment in dynamic venues. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in related fieldwork, 2-3 years in customer service or hospitality, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• External applicants must meet and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s program.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced AV equipment; troubleshoot issues; security and safety compliance.
• Customer Service: provide excellent service; maintain positive client relationships; collaborate on event solutions pre/during event.
• Training/Staff Development: mentor and coach technical, sales, and operations staff.
• Event Supervision: perform pre/during/post event work; supervise technicians during events.
• Equipment Maintenance: assist with security, storage, transport, and maintenance; inventory and forecasting of equipment needs.
