Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to manage setup, operation, and breakdown of AV systems in hospitality venues. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure safety and security, and maintain strong client relationships on site.

The role requires 2–3+ years in hospitality and AV, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Expect irregular hours and a travel-friendly environment within hotel/convention settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required for applicable positions.
• External applicants must meet training/certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must complete training/certification per Encore’s program.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown audiovisual equipment for events; troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with clients on-site.
• Demonstrate advanced technical ability and troubleshoot equipment/software issues.
• Follow Encore processes, complete paperwork accurately, and coordinate with vendors.
• Use floor-up selling techniques to increase revenue and work with clients to finalize invoices.
