Job summary

Rivian is hiring a Sales Advisor IV in Washington, DC to join our field sales team. You will manage the full customer relationship from lead qualification to close, guiding buyers through in-person visits, demo drives, phone, text, and email to deliver a personalized experience.

The role emphasizes a customer-first mindset, resilience in a fast-paced startup environment, and a proven track record in high-velocity sales.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in Sales, Retail, Hospitality or similar fields preferred
• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Proven track record in high-velocity sales cycle
• Experience in start-up environment with iteration
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to travel to support events and launches
• Comfortable with demo drives and large vehicles
• Work well in team and independently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to obtain local sales licenses if applicable

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and related KPIs
• Ensure best-in-class customer experience at your location
• Qualify customers and create personalized experiences that drive conversion
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Rivian products and benefits
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with high-touch service
• Support customers through order confirmation and multiple sales stages
• Host retail activations and events to generate demand
• Solicit customer feedback for continuous improvement
• Stay informed on auto/EV landscape and articulate Rivian value
• Share best practices with teammates
• Perform keyholder duties including opening/closing and daily recaps
• Provide direction and feedback to teammates
• Resolve escalations and communicate issues to appropriate teams
• Report business trends and opportunities to leadership
• Monitor customer sentiment and coaching for performance
• Take on additional projects as required by sales leadership
