Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role involves diagnostics, installations, and inspections at service centers or customer locations, with travel to production plants as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in automotive shop or EV repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian product lines and EV framework to customers.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Perform road tests to validate repairs and document notes.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, and inventory.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
