Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs, working across centers and on mobile routes. You will diagnose, repair, and service Rivian EVs, document work, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining strong customer communication.

Ideal candidates have shop experience, a willingness to travel, and the ability to work early mornings or weekends as needed. EV familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or GED and hands‑on automotive experience.
• Experience with EV or hybrid repair is a plus but not required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian products, EV framework, and related tools and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify quality of repairs.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document all work and maintain clear notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
• Keep technical skills up to date and complete required training.
