Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs in a dynamic environment. The role may travel to customer sites or the production plant, requiring teamwork and adaptability across levels of experience.

You will diagnose, repair, and install Rivian vehicles, explain EV systems to customers, and maintain thorough service records while staying current with Rivian procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for 3–5 years.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent reading and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or on-site.
• Explain Rivian products and EV systems to customers.
• Follow repair procedures using available resources without compromising safety.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and notes thoroughly for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with a team and maintain high professionalism with customers.
