Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role is based in the Bay Area but may require travel to production sites and customer locations, including remote service routes, to provide vehicle support as needed.

The position calls for a collaborative, team-oriented professional capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Prior EV/hybrid repair experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Experience with automotive repairs or EV/hybrid work is a plus.
• Ability to operate in Windows or Mac computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories to customers.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes clearly for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with a team and maintain professionalism in customer interactions.
• Stay current with technical training and Rivian’s standards.
