Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers, homes, and mobile routes. You will diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles, work with EV systems, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, comfort with tools, and a willingness to travel. The role includes 40 hours weekly with potential weekends and shifts, plus benefits and opportunities in a growing EV

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
Must be 21+ with valid driver's license.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Able to read/speak fluent English.
Willing to travel to multiple locations when needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect Rivian vehicles at service centers or in the field.
Identify and explain Rivian products and EV framework.
Follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality.
Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
Manage parts ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
Document work and notes for internal/external use.
Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
