Job summary

ChargeTronix seeks a Senior Tier III field service technician to own uptime for a Southern California territory. You will diagnose complex DC fast-charger faults, commission new sites, mentor Tier I/II technicians, and feed failure data back to engineering. You work independently with safety as a priority.

The role requires 5+ years in field service, 2+ years on DCFC, and certification in EVITP or equivalent. Expect heavy travel and a home base in Southern California.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on electrical or electromechanical field service.
• 3+ years on EV charging equipment, 2+ years on DC fast chargers.
• Ability to read logs and diagnose using PLC/CAN/OCPP traces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Tier III escalations on DC fast chargers.
• Commission new installations and test interoperability across platforms.
• Own uptime and lead training for Tier I/II technicians in territory.
• Produce field bulletins and SOPs; maintain safety and quality.
