Job summary

ChargeTronix seeks a Senior Field Service Technician (Tier III) to own uptime across a Southern California territory. You will diagnose, repair, and commission DC fast-charging systems, mentor Tier I/II technicians, and serve as the primary on-site customer contact.

You will analyze logs (PLC, CAN, OCPP), perform field upgrades, and ensure safety compliance while working largely independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical or electromechanical field service.
• 3+ years on DC fast chargers (50 kW+) in EV charging.
• Experience training or leading other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Tier III escalations on DC fast chargers.
• Commission and test new installations; verify 480 V service and grounding.
• Own uptime metrics and provide weekly reports for the territory.
