ChargeTronix is seeking a Senior Tier III field technician based in Southern California with heavy travel to maintain uptime across a regional territory. You will commission new sites, mentor Tier I/II technicians, and own fault resolution for DC fast charging systems.

You will diagnose component-level issues, read PLC/CAN logs, and provide remote guidance to junior teams. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and coordination with field service management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on electrical/electromechanical field service experience.
• 3+ years on EV charging equipment, 50 kW+ DCFC.
• 2+ years on DC fast chargers with component-level repair.
• California electrician certification or EVITP certification.
• NFPA 70E and OSHA safety training current or within 60 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.

Responsabilités

• Own territory uptime, MTTR, and first-time-fix rate; report weekly.
• Mentor Tier I/II technicians and lead field service on-site.
• Act as primary on-site contact for customers and hosts; communicate issues and solutions clearly.
• Diagnose and repair DC fast-charger faults at component level when appropriate.
• Commission new installations and run acceptance tests across vehicle platforms.
