Job summary

ChargeTronix is seeking a Senior Tier III field service technician to own uptime in a Southern California territory. You will fix complex DC fast-charger faults, commission new sites, and mentor Tier I/II technicians on site.

This role requires independent work, safety leadership, and direct collaboration with engineers. Expect heavy travel and on-call responsibilities with a company car provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on field service in electrical or electromechanical work.
• 3+ years on EV charging equipment (DCFC) experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians and leading on-site tasks.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA awareness and safety discipline.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Tier III escalation faults on DC fast chargers.
• Commission new sites, verify 480 V service and back-end registration.
• Run interoperability tests across vehicle platforms and connectors.
• Maintain field service leadership and train Tier I/II staff.
• Communicate status and risks to the service manager.
