Job summary

ChargeTronix in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an EV Charger Technical Support Specialist with strong electrical background to diagnose and repair DC EV chargers. You will assist customers and field technicians, review tickets, and provide timely solutions to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities include remote and on-site troubleshooting, installation guidance, configurations, and software updates. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams and travel domestically when needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred but not required.
Experience in technical support or field service in EV industry preferred.
Strong understanding of AC/DC power distribution and wiring diagrams.
Ability to diagnose and repair DC EV chargers remotely and on site.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt technical support to customers via written and verbal communication.
Diagnose technical issues with EV charging equipment remotely.
Assist with installation procedures, configuration, and software updates.
Maintain records in a CRM/Ticketing system and create troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales on complex issues.
Travel domestically as needed.
Work independently and meet deadlines.
