Job summary

HDR is seeking an EV Charging Infrastructure Design Lead/Manager to deliver multi-disciplinary transportation electrification projects across public, workplace, and fleet charging domains. You will lead design, reports, client engagement, and project delivery with a focus on CAD/BIM standards.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, 8+ years in civil/energy engineering, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel nationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong CAD software skills: AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI, Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects.
• Prepare EVSE site designs, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and sub-consultants; engage with clients.
• Mentor staff and pursue new project opportunities in partnership with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations; provide construction phase support.
• Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
