Job summary

Layton Construction in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Estimator to manage and assist in compiling estimates for diverse projects, ensuring cost accuracy and professional communication with Owners.

You will prepare bids, read contract documents, perform quantity takeoffs, and lead preconstruction with Architects and Owners, delivering Value Engineering and lifecycle cost options. Proficiency with Revit, Primavera, Destini Estimator, BlueBeam, and Assemble is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Over five years' experience in estimating commercial construction projects, including hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual estimating.
• Knowledge of all construction systems and disciplines to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Experience in self-performed concrete construction estimation.
• Estimating at all design stages: conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with Target Value Design and current estimating software.
