Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Sterling, VA is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid preparation and cost estimation for electrical construction projects.

You will review drawings, conduct take-offs, develop labor and material costs, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver accurate bids. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and at least 4 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years estimating or relevant experience in closures/construction estimates.
• Experience with Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off on project and complete estimate to computer printout.
• Identify key elements for competitive estimates and review specs/drawings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing discipline sub estimates and coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors.
